Oatlands Montessori opened its doors to children in the Mount Merrion and Stillorgan communities in 2007. 

Our aim then, as it is now, is to provide a high-quality preschool environment for all our children.
 

In our Montessori, we follow a child-led, play based

curriculum while also drawing inspiration from Maria

Montessori’s methods. We create a warm, nurturing

environment where each child is supported to explore their

individual interests. Through hands-on play and meaningful

experiences, we focus on building confidence, independence

and emotion regulation, while developing the key skills

needed to prepare children for a smooth and positive transition to primary school when that time comes. 

 

Oatlands Montessori caters children aged 2 years and 8 months to 5 years and is open from
9:00 – 12:30 5 days a week during the school term. We participate in the ECCE scheme, which offers families 3 hours of free preschool each day. We also offer an additional 30 minutes for a small fee. Parents can avail of the NCS subsidy for this additional time. Further details on both schemes are linked below.
